Founded in 2021 in Brampton, Ontario, Second Life Vintage is a family-run business created by brothers Devin and Kevin Damwar, first-generation Canadians of Guyanese descent. Born in Montreal and raised in Brampton since 2001, we grew up surrounded by clothing and culture. Our mother owned a women’s boutique in downtown Toronto, and from an early age we were immersed in fabrics, tags, and the stories behind every garment making it a natural step to start a clothing brand of our own

Our expertise has been shaped through years of hands-on experience and early opportunities to learn directly from some of Toronto’s most respected vintage stores. This foundation gave us a deep understanding of eras, craftsmanship, and the cultural impact of fashion across generations

Since then, we’ve built Top Rated and highly respected stores across platforms such as eBay, Grailed, and Depop, cultivating strong customer bases and earning the trust of vintage enthusiasts worldwide

Beyond vintage, our roots also run deep in Toronto’s creative scene. Kevin, also known as Kevv (@kevvdamwar), is an established R&B artist with a dedicated following and fanbase, while Devin (@devindamwar) continues to grow the vision of the brand. Together, we balance our work in clothing with a well respected presence in Toronto’s creative scene bridging fashion and music as part of the same culture and community we grew up in

From fulfilling around 300 orders in our first year to over 2,000 orders every year afterwards our journey reflects both the growth of our business and the loyalty of our community. What began as a small family project is now a trusted global destination for authentic 80s, 90s, and Y2K streetwear.
